This book was written by an alumna of the same school as myself, so I may be prejudiced, I warn you.

The book was an enjoyable read, however, and I loved it when I read it, but in all honesty, now asked to review it I guess I must call it "forgettable" because at this moment I cannot even remember what it was about, as opposed to "The Great Belzoni" which I just reviewed and remembered quite well, as it was quite unique and startling on it's historical subject. For this reason, I have just now fulfilled my above promise, as I downgraded the book to only four stars, from five.

I think this book is like much contemporary fiction in that we may enjoy a book, but then many months later when given only the name of the book, one remembers reading it, but does not remember the story particularly, whereas certain books I NEVER FORGET. Dear reader, has this happened to you?

This was an excellent book. I knew from the very first pages that it was going to be a good story. I enjoy reading, especially books that I don't want to put down until the end. This is one of those books!
Just Read It. Really, really good book. Don't want to spoil anything so I am not going to say anymore. Hard to believe this is just the 2nd book ever written by the author. Once you read it you will be on here giving it a 5 star review too. Can't wait for the sequel.
I was riveted to this book from the first page to the very end. The shocking ending has me waiting for its sequel with bated breath. Danielle Singleton is a top notch mystery writer.
This book made me think twice about getting a blood transfusion.....
This was a really well-written and creative book. Loved the setting, the use of a "task force" and their varying personalities and a villain and it even taught me something about several subjects including the blood supply and viruses. I really enjoyed it and read it in 3 days! Looking forward to the next one!
I enjoy books with medical backgrounds and a good mystery. This book meets both criteria. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Warning!! If you cheat and read the ending before you finish, you will be sorry!! Be good and read through and you will enjoy every minute of the book, I promise. I sure did.
Drew me in from page one. Purchased sequel. My 3rd Danielle Singleton read.
Fast paced thriller. Character development occurs along side of action. When an author can write and I hear each character speak in a voice I mentally assign to the character while I read is a gift. I would not be surprised to see one of Danielle's books on the big screen.
