The main character, Maya, was so real that I started crying with empathy for her at one point. The dialogue, especially, was true-to-life and kept the story line moving realistically. I could feel the feelings of the people in the book.

I love books about the supernatural, and this is one of the books I've read that I could not put down. It's true what they say, when you start reading this, you will not stop! It starts off pretty intense, with her trying not to drown at sea, and it's explained so very well that you feel like you're right there with her.

So well written, I did not even breathe while reading this introduction!

Maria Johnsen captures your attention in this book, and I recommended it to my dad who always loves to read.
as soon as it got to my home, i began reading. when i took the trains to work, i kept reading and almost missed my stop.
that's how addicting this book is!
